One consideration that might appear overlooked within the peaceful approach is that students get tools for organising local communities first. To be clear, we want tools that work for anyone, anywhere, living more locally and less lonely, but they need to be perfected somewhere calm and high-trust before they can generalise. Uni campuses give us a testnet. We can see what breaks, what people misunderstand, and what norms help coordination. We need to make sure that people are safe, and a campus is the safest place to learn how people organise in the real world. Even though this all runs inside Peaceful Foundation right now, the intention with [redacted] is that it won’t stay tied to any organisation. A more local world of local communities shouldn’t feel like a movement or a brand. People just need a set of tools; ideally it barely has a name at all. We've outlined and refined this project and are currently creating the technical stack and a zero trust governance structure with a reputation system, there will be a point where you'll have a cute little animated lake and a sunset and flick any badges into a pond, to creates reputation through trust and meeting people, not achievement.
